One home owner told me that these tock stacks are usually set up to point the direction for people who are hiking. "inukshuk". People around here added the little knitted hats. The people at this house might be Green Bay Packer fans.
I couldn't resist making my own rock guy. I only had this color yarn with me. I'll keep looking for more imaginative stones. My son-in-law was worried that I had knit every one in the family too many winter hats and now had resorted to knitting for rocks. He was worried I'd name the rocks. He was right.
