Monday Morning Walk

I've expanded my walking paths to include Esperanza Blvd.  This is the main road on the north side of the complex.  This sidewalk is a bit easier than the gravel paths.

Las Campanas means The Bells.  It is a subdivision of large single family homes

This new path parallels our complex.

Esperanza Estates is on the other side of the "wash"( drainage ditch)
Back on the regular hiking path.
Look beyond the "wash" to the clouds billowing over the terraced old copper mine slag mounds.  I'm still trying to interpret the weather here.
This iron gate leads into a large cow pasture.  I met Janice and Sandra, two sisters who hike the paths that wander around.  I was glad to walk with them as this was really off the beaten path.  No snakes, no cows, just a few rabbits and 2 roadrunners.  Janice was from Michigan, Sandra from Iowa.
This is a curb sign indicating the house number.  Some people are a bit more creative.
 Quails
 Saguaros
Traditional Indian  Kokopelli

And then there's the outright statement.
La Pasada has a Farmer's Market on Mondays.  La Pasada means The Inn in Spanish.
Lovely fountain and flowers
I guess those clouds reappeared in time to streak the sky with these incredible colors
Good Night
