Sunday morning dawned with gray clouds moving in over the Santa Rita Mountains. Most days the sky is a bright, intense shade of blue with not a cloud anywhere. This weather system came from Mexico and the Baja Peninsula. The temperature stayed in the high 60s, so snow seemed unlikely. These clouds do look like Wisconsin snow clouds though. I took this picture standing on a chair in our back patio.
The weather report predicted 60% chance of rain at 2pm. Would you believe it did rain beginning at 1:45? It was 1/2 of precipitation. As you may have noticed, rain, waterfalls, small creeks are a big deal here!!
