Finally a day decent for sailing on Lake Michigan. It was a touch foggy with little wind, but we thought we'd try it. Sailing with us today are Ann Cassidy, professor of Art from Carthage and Patrick Cooper ( incidentally graduated from high school with my brother, another Zionite!)who docks his sail boat next to Ann's.
Leaving the Kenosha Marina
Not much wind for any sailboat
Skies begin to brighten and the wind picked up.
A full sail!! Imagine that. The "Mist" began to hum which is a good thing.
Mansions on the Kenosha lake front
All tucked in for the next sail.
